Scholarship

• (2) $500 scholarship awards
• The # of awards & dollar amount may vary throughout current leadership term
• If scholarships are not claimed under the current TFU term (2022-2025) of Num Pheej Thoj, then scholarships funds MUST roll into the next terms until claimed by a qualified TFU student/member
• Application open through 12/2023

ELIGIBILITY:

• TFU family member
• A high school senior or current college student
• In good academic standing with a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3+
• Student’s must plan to enroll full-time OR is currently enrolled, in a four-year degree program, at a US accredited, not-for-profit, private or public college or university
• Willing to re-invest back into a formal position with the Thao Family Unity organization after graduation period
• Throughout college career, must be willing to share current GPA upon request
• Demonstrated leadership ability (e.g., as shown through participation in community service, extracurricular, or other activities)
• Exceptional personal skills (e.g., emotional maturity, motivation, perseverance, etc.) 
• 2 letters of recommendation (1 must be from instructor; professor/teacher)
• Attach a transcript of grades (does not have to be official)

• Minimum 1 page (max 2 pages) essay of personal statement must be turned with application
• PERSONAL STATEMENT: Please provide a biography of yourself, and describe your goals as they relate to your future career. Please include what your specific interests and activities you currently participate in, what leadership roles you hold, any past or current internships, and future career goals. Elaborate on how you see yourself participating and supporting Thao Family Unity organization in the future. Please limit this statement to two pages.
